Sanders Aeronautics is an industry leader in the maintenance of warbird and vintage aircraft. We have a dedicated staff with over 35 years of experience to serve your warbird and vintage aircraft maintenance needs. Whether its an annual inspection, general maintenance, equipment upgrades, airframe repairs or major restoration, we professionally complete the work to FAA and our customers specifications. All facets of maintenance are done in-house; light and heavy sheet metal fabrication and repairs, aircraft systems, welding, and assembly. We also have recently added a 10,000 sq. ft. facility for long term restoration projects and to better serve our customers needs.

BEECHCRAFT SUPER H18

	Owner: Base: Model: Information:	Sanders Aeronautics Ione, CA Beechcraft Super H18 This beautifully restored Super H18 is maintained and operated by Sanders Aeronautics.

GRUMMAN TIGERCAT

	Owner: Base: Model: Information:	Mike Brown Ione, CA Grumman F7F-3P Tigercat "Big Bossman" This warbird is one of only five flying examples in the world today and is flown on a regular basis by Mike Brown from its home base at Eagles Nest airport. Sanders Aeronautics assists in the maintenance of this beautifully restored warbird.

HAWKER SEA FURY

	Owner: Base: Model: Information:	Sanders Aeronautics Ione, CA Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 "Argonaut" "Argonaut" is one of many Sea Fury's that have been restored and maintained by Sanders Aeronautics. Dennis and Brian Sanders are renowned experts in the field of Sea Furies and aircraft restoration in general. They have developed smoke generators that can be mounted on both wing tips, allowing "Argonaut" to visually demonstrate the effects of wing tip vortices and its awesome performance at airshows.



	Owner: Base: Model: Information:	Sanders Aeronautics Ione, CA Hawker Sea Fury T Mk.20 "Dreadnaught" Mated with America's biggest production piston-engine power plant: the Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major producing over 4,000 horsepower, "Dreadnought" is considered as the ultimate Hawker Sea Fury racer and is the flagship of Sanders Aeronautics.



	Owner: Base: Model: Information:	Mike Brown Ione, CA Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 "September Fury" "September Fury" is the World's Fastest Sea Fury, winning the Unlimited Class Gold Race Sunday afternoon at the 2006 National Championship Air Races at Reno, Nevada, with a speed of 481.619 mph. Sanders Aeronautics involvement with this Sea Fury goes as far back as 1969, and more recently, during the evolution and testing of this magnificent racer since Mike Brown purchased it in 1995.



	Owner: Base: Model: Information:	Mike Brown Ione, CA Hawker Sea Fury T Mk.20 "September Pops" Sanders Aeronautics completed a ground-up restoration on "September Pops", including the installation of a Wright R-3350 engine swinging a Skyraider propeller, in 1998, and have been involved in the maintenance on a regular basis.
