Sanders Aeronautics President Ruth Sanders celebrated her 70th Birthday at the Family Business in Ione, California on April 26, 2008 with approximately 150 close friends and family.

Son's Dennis and Brian did a fly by and Airshow in the families two Hawker Sea Furies, "Dreadnought" and "Argonaut". Dan Vance  did an Airshow in his P-51D Mustang "Speedball Alice" and Brant and Steve Seghetti brought their P-51D Mustang "Sparky" and had it on display. Later, Bernie White did a night demonstration in a clipped wing Taylorcraft.

Guests were encouraged to bring their Classic cars for an informal Car Show, which included a demonstration run by Phil Nagel in his Dragster. A good time was had by all.
